Mind Reading Using Special Headset Technology

Mind-reading is no longer science fiction. In the near future we can expect a number of steps to improve communication with the thoughts, and the first step is to talk through our thoughts with the computer. This system should provide that, instead of keyboard and mouse, we use our brain waves to provide a computer instructions on what to do.
According to Wikipedia, Mind reading refer to telepathy, the transfer of information between individuals by means other than the five senses.

View a demo of this system and be amazed. It is a live demonstration where Tan Le’s astonishing new computer interface reads its user’s brainwaves, making it possible to control virtual objects, and even physical electronics, with mere thoughts (and a little concentration). She demos the headset, and talks about its far-reaching applications.
The system looks simple. First, the user has to train the system to recognize his thoughts by imagining a certain action (for example, move the mouse pointer on the screen). Next time the system recognizes that thought, it will perform the action for which it is associated.
